Objective

The main objective of this project is to design and develop a smart attendance management system that automates the process of recording, storing, and managing student attendance in educational institutions. The project aims to integrate timetable management with attendance tracking to ensure accurate and synchronized monitoring of class schedules. By implementing blockchain technology, the system seeks to provide secure, transparent, and tamper-proof storage of attendance records, thereby enhancing data integrity and reliability. Another key objective is to establish role-based access for administrators and users to improve system security and usability.

Abstract

The Smart Attendance Management System with Timetable Integration is a secure and efficient digital platform designed to automate and manage student attendance and academic schedules in educational institutions. This system integrates blockchain technology to ensure data integrity, transparency, and tamper-proof record keeping of attendance information. The application provides separate access modules for administrators and users, enabling role-based functionality and enhanced security. Administrators can manage attendance records, create and update timetables, monitor user activities, and generate reports, while users can register, log in, and view their attendance status and class schedules. By leveraging blockchain, the system prevents unauthorized modifications and enhances trust in data management. The integrated timetable feature helps in synchronizing attendance with scheduled classes, reducing errors and manual workload. Overall, the proposed system improves accuracy, reliability, and efficiency in attendance tracking, supports real-time access to academic records, and contributes to transparent and accountable educational management.
