This project presents the Local Train Ticketing System, a responsive web-based application designed to digitize and simplify the process of booking local and metro train tickets. The system enables users to select train lines, choose source and destination stations, and pick ticket types such as single or return. Fare is automatically calculated based on travel distance between stations.
A built-in wallet module allows users to manage balances and securely deduct fares during booking. The platform generates a QR code for each ticket, which is sent via email for verification, offering a seamless and contactless travel experience. The admin interface supports user management, wallet recharges, and station data updates. Designed for all screen sizes, the system provides an efficient and user-friendly solution for modern train travel.
