Objective

The main objective of the project “Indian Temples and Great Architecture” is to create an interactive web-based platform that preserves, promotes, and provides easy access to information about India’s diverse and historically rich temple architecture. The platform aims to educate users about the cultural and architectural significance of temples across India, allowing them to explore temple details, upload photographs, and share their personal experiences through reviews. Additionally, the system offers an admin module to manage temple entries, moderate user-generated content, and ensure the authenticity of the information provided. The project also encourages community involvement in heritage preservation by allowing users to contribute content in a structured and secure environment. Ultimately, the goal is to bridge the gap between tradition and technology, making India’s temple heritage accessible to researchers, tourists, students, and culture lovers worldwide.

Abstract

India is renowned for its rich cultural heritage and timeless architectural marvels, particularly its temples that reflect the grandeur, craftsmanship, and spiritual depth of ancient Indian civilization. The project "Indian Temples and Great Architecture" is a web-based platform designed to preserve, showcase, and promote awareness about these temples across the nation. This system enables users to explore various temples, learn about their historical and architectural significance, and contribute by uploading images and adding reviews. The platform provides two key roles: users and admin. Users can register, log in, view temple details, leave reviews, and upload images to share their experiences. The admin is responsible for managing temple records, moderating reviews, and ensuring content quality. This platform serves both as an educational tool and a digital preservation initiative, offering an engaging experience for enthusiasts, researchers, and tourists. By bridging technology and heritage, the system aims to create a digital archive that not only preserves temple information but also fosters a deeper appreciation for Indian architecture and cultural history.
