The primary objective of this work is to implement and compare various digital modulation schemes — including BPSK and QPSK — used in satellite communication systems using MATLAB and Simulink to evaluate their performance in terms of bit error rate (BER), power spectrum, and bandwidth efficiency. The study seeks to demonstrate how each modulation technique behaves under a simulated satellite communication environment, highlighting the advantages and trade-offs between schemes such as BPSK and QPSK — where BPSK shows superior BER performance and QPSK offers better spectral efficiency.
