The primary objective of the Hospital Management System is to design and develop a centralized, secure, and user-friendly platform that efficiently manages hospital operations and enhances patient care services. The system aims to provide role-based access for users, doctors, hospitals, and administrators to ensure smooth coordination and effective communication among all stakeholders. It seeks to automate essential processes such as user registration, doctor assignment, request management, and status tracking to reduce manual workload and improve operational efficiency. Another key objective is to integrate an SOS emergency alert feature that enables users to send immediate notifications, along with audio and video evidence, to registered email contacts for rapid response during critical situations. Additionally, the system intends to support administrative monitoring through analytics, reports, and feedback management, thereby improving decision-making and overall healthcare service quality.
The Hospital Management System is a comprehensive web-based application designed to streamline communication and coordination between users (patients), doctors, hospitals, and administrators, while providing an integrated emergency response mechanism. The system enables users to register, log in, manage their profiles, add emergency contacts, and access a personalized dashboard. A key feature of the system is the SOS functionality, which allows users to send immediate emergency alerts, including video and audio recordings, directly to registered email IDs for quick assistance. Users can also track their SOS history for future reference. The Admin module provides centralized control over the platform, allowing administrators to manage users and hospitals, assign doctors to specific hospitals, monitor user requests, review feedback, and analyze system performance through graphical reports and analytics. The Doctor module enables medical professionals to register, log in, view assigned patients, and update treatment statuses such as “In Progress” or “Completed.” Similarly, the Hospital module facilitates hospital login, management of doctors, viewing of user requests, and assignment of doctors to patients. By integrating emergency services, role-based access control, real-time status updates, and analytical reporting, the Hospital Management System enhances operational efficiency, improves patient care coordination, and ensures timely medical assistance during emergencies.
