Objective

The primary objective of the project titled “Secured Monitoring of Drug Environmental Parameters Using Cold Supply Chain” is to design and implement a secure, efficient, and reliable system that ensures the safe delivery of pharmaceutical products by maintaining and monitoring optimal environmental conditions throughout the supply chain. The project aims to integrate real-time monitoring technologies, such as IoT sensors, to continuously track critical parameters like temperature and humidity during the storage and transportation of medicines. By doing so, the system safeguards the integrity and effectiveness of temperature-sensitive drugs, reducing the risk of spoilage and ensuring patient safety.

Abstract

The project titled “Secured Monitoring of Drug Environmental Parameters Using Cold Supply Chain” aims to enhance the reliability, security, and efficiency of pharmaceutical product delivery by implementing a cold chain system. The system includes two main user roles: User and Admin. Users can log in, browse available medicine products, add them to their cart, make purchases, and manage their profile and cart activities. Administrators have elevated access to manage the inventory by adding new medicine products, viewing order details, and updating cart information. The system ensures the integrity of drug storage conditions by integrating real-time monitoring of environmental parameters, such as temperature and humidity, during storage and transit. This helps in maintaining the efficacy and safety of sensitive medications. Through a secure and user-friendly interface, the platform facilitates streamlined medicine procurement while ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical storage standards. This approach ultimately contributes to better healthcare delivery and consumer trust.
