The objective of this project is to enhance the security and integrity of notary services within E-government by implementing blockchain technology. The goal is to develop a decentralized system that ensures tamper-proof notarization, safeguarding against manipulation and hacking threats. Through the utilization of blockchain's cryptographic verification and smart contracts programmed in Solidity, the project aims to authenticate notary documents without revealing their content, thereby preserving user privacy. By providing a reliable and transparent mechanism for registering, managing, and verifying notary records, the project ultimately seeks to instill trust and confidence in government services while mitigating risks associated with centralized storage.
This paper proposes leveraging blockchain technology to enhance the security and integrity of notary services within the realm of E-government. Traditional notary systems suffer from vulnerabilities such as centralized server manipulation and hacking risks, leading to document tampering without user detection. To address these challenges, the paper introduces a blockchain-based approach where notary documents are authenticated without revealing their content. By storing each notary record as a block with a unique hash code, blockchain ensures data integrity through cryptographic verification. Smart contracts, programmed in Solidity, are utilized to manage notary services, facilitating functions like registration, deletion, and viewing of notary keys. This decentralized architecture ensures tamper-proof notarization, enhancing trust and reliability in government services while maintaining user privacy.
