The main objective appears to be developing a novel method for image encryption and decryption using artificial neural network (ANN)-based chua chaotic system (CCS) implemented on field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs)
Image encryption and decryption play a crucial role in ensuring the confidentiality and security of digital images, especially in applications such as secure communications, medical imaging, and cloud storage. Various cryptographic techniques, including leoffler systems, block ciphers, and advanced key generation mechanisms, are employed to transform image data into an unintelligible format, preventing unauthorized access. The decryption process restores the original image using the correct key and algorithm, ensuring data integrity. Recent advancements leverage artificial intelligence, quantum computing, and lightweight cryptographic methods to enhance security while maintaining computational efficiency. This field continues to evolve, addressing challenges related to speed, complexity, and resistance to attacks.
Keywords— encryption, decryption, leoffler
