Objective

This project aims to enhance power system stability with high renewable integration by assessing renewable variability impacts, exploring mitigation strategies like energy storage and control algorithms, evaluating economic and environmental benefits, and offering recommendations for grid management. It seeks to expand knowledge on renewable integration and grid stability for a sustainable energy future.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of renewable energy integration on the stability of power systems. With the increasing penetration of renewable energy sources like wind and solar power, concerns arise regarding their intermittency and its effect on grid stability. Through simulations and analysis, this research explores various methods for enhancing the stability of power systems in the presence of renewable energy. It examines strategies such as energy storage systems, advanced control algorithms, and grid reinforcement techniques. Additionally, the study evaluates the economic feasibility and environmental benefits of these solutions. Results indicate that a combination of these approaches can significantly improve the stability and reliability of power systems with high renewable energy penetration. Understanding the dynamics of renewable energy integration is crucial for the sustainable development of power systems.
