To build a YOLO-based model for fast and accurate early detection of fire and smoke. The aim is to enable real-time alerts for improved safety and disaster prevention.
This project presents a YOLO-based early fire and smoke detection system using Raspberry Pi, a web camera, fire sensor, relay module, water pump, and buzzer. The system uses deep learning (YOLO) to detect fire and smoke in real time through camera input, while the fire sensor provides additional confirmation. When fire or smoke is detected, the relay activates the water pump for suppression and the buzzer generates an alert. The system offers a low-cost and intelligent fire safety solution for early detection and rapid response in homes and industries.
