The main objective of this project is to detect number plate and violation detection for triple riders
The abstract introduces an innovative approach for the detection of triple riders and helmet violations using a combination of Arduino, RFID tags, and MATLAB image processing. This system addresses the critical issue of traffic rule violations by enhancing the monitoring and enforcement of safety regulations. The core of this system involves MATLAB image processing, which analyses pre-processed images to detect violations of triple riding and helmet usage. When these violations are detected, the MATLAB program communicates the relevant data to an Arduino microcontroller through serial communication.
To enhance the enforcement of traffic rules, RFID tags are used as nameplates on vehicles. When an RFID tag is placed on a reader, signifying the identity of the rider, the Arduino receives this information. Subsequently, the system employs a GSM module to send an SMS notification to the rider, informing them of the traffic rule violation. This innovative approach significantly improves traffic safety and enforcement by automating the detection and notification of triple riding and helmet violations. By combining image processing, RFID technology, and Arduino-based communication, this system offers a proactive solution to promote road safety and compliance with traffic regulations. It serves as an important tool for enhancing traffic management and ensuring the safety of riders and passengers on the road.
