Objective

The primary objective of this project is to develop a Virtual Try-On System that enhances the online shopping experience by allowing users to virtually try on clothing items. The system aims to provide an interactive platform where users can upload their image and combine it with clothing images to visualize how the clothes will look on them. This will help users make more informed purchasing decisions, improve customer satisfaction, and reduce return rates. The system will also include features like user registration, profile management, and a dashboard, ensuring a seamless, secure, and personalized experience for every user.

Abstract

The Virtual Try-On System is an innovative application designed to allow users to visualize clothing items on their own images without the need for physical trials. The system leverages image processing algorithms to merge user-uploaded photos with clothing images, providing an interactive and realistic experience. It aims to improve online shopping experiences, reduce product return rates, and enhance customer satisfaction by offering a virtual fitting room. The application consists of several key modules: The User Module, which handles user registration, login, and profile management; the Dashboard Module, where users can view and manage their account; the Visual System Module, which enables users to upload their image and select clothing items for virtual trials; and the Output Module, which combines the user’s image with the clothing item to display the final visual. Additionally, users can update their profiles and log out securely. The system is built with ReactJS for the frontend, Spring Boot for the backend, and MySQL for database management, ensuring robust performance and secure data handling. This system’s seamless integration provides users with a personalized shopping experience, making it an ideal solution for e-commerce platforms looking to enhance their virtual shopping capabilities.
