Trapdoor Privacy in Public Key Encryption with Keyword Search: A Review

Project Code :TCMAPY764

Objective

The main objective of the project is to provide trapdoor privacy in public key encryption scheme.

Abstract

A server may execute searches over cipher text in a public-key environment by using the public key encryption with keyword search (PEKS) technique. A serious flaw in the PEKS technique is the keyword guessing attack. The attacker can use a keyword guessing attack (KGA) to correctly decode the right term hidden in a searchable cipher text and trapdoor. In order to address this weakness, security concepts like keyword privacy and trapdoor privacy were developed. Similar to how keyword privacy stops information from leaking from the keyword, trapdoor privacy stops information from leaking from the trapdoor side. In order to fulfil trapdoor privacy, a PEKS system must be secure against KGA.

Keywords: -Data owner, Data user, cloud server, trapdoor.
