Towards a Secure Electronic Health Record System Using Blockchain Technology

Project Code :TCMAPY804

Objective

The main aim of the project is to determine the security in transactions of the health care records using block chain.

Abstract

This paper introduces a groundbreaking approach to enhance the security and accessibility of electronic health records (EHRs) through the integration of Blockchain technology. Traditional healthcare record systems, centralized and vulnerable, face risks of data breaches and unauthorized alterations. Leveraging Blockchain's inherent attributes of data integrity and security, this proposed system ensures the immutability of healthcare records. Each record is stored as a block with a unique hashcode, distributed across multiple nodes. In the event of a server failure or attack, the system remains resilient, allowing seamless access from other operational nodes. Patients gain control over their data, sharing it securely with multiple authorized healthcare providers. The implementation utilizes SOLIDITY code for Blockchain functions, providing a robust foundation for managing and safeguarding healthcare details.
