Three-Switch-Based Integrated Dual-DC Boost Converter Topology for Solar-Battery Integration

Project Code :TEPGPE224

Objective

The main objective of this project is design and analysis of a three switch based integrated dual dc boost converters, which is applicable in solar-battery integration systems.

Abstract

Abstract

This paper proposes a power converter topology which can interface solar and storage into dc distribution bus using an integrated architecture. The topology is denoted as Three-Switch Integrated Dual-DC Boost Converter (3S-IDDBC). The characterization, steady state analysis, and design of the converter is shown in the paper. A pulse-width-modulation control strategy for the proposed topology has been suggested and this has been used to demonstrate power flow management between the different ports. Simulation results validate the converter operation
