Objective

The main objective of this project is to design a smart mailbox that can gives an alert when a person places a courier in the mailbox. This system will identify the presence of a person and then activates the camera automatically which will capture the image and sends it to the owner via an email.

Abstract

A motion controlled smart mailbox to identify thefting or receiving mail that captures the image of the person who is been delivering the Product and alerts that Product  is received. The person detection can be done with the help of IR sensor. By this the owner can know that he has got a courier.

This system can also be used as a surveillance if someone has placed any wrong mail or someone has stolen the courier, the captured footage is sent to email of owner. Based on that he can take action.
