Objective

The main objective of this system is to design a helmet that provides safety to motorcyclist or to any bike rider by preventing drunk and drive. It detects accident and alert the guardian about accident and engine doesnot get started if alcohol is detected.

Abstract

The major goal of our project is accident detection, notification and prevention. This helmet makes rider to feel comfortable as well as with high protection and security. This smart helmet consists of two systems: transmitter and the receiver section. The transmitter section has arduino which has interfaced with zigbee module that will send a signal to the system at the receiver section whenever they are drunk or didn’t wear helmet while starting the engine

At the receiver section, we have a MEMS sensor which is used for accident detection and will send the GPS location through an SMS with the help of GSM module.
