The objective of the Student and Faculty Information System (SFIS) project is to develop a comprehensive Android application that enhances the efficiency and effectiveness of academic processes within educational institutions. SFIS aims to achieve this by providing administrators with tools to streamline administrative tasks, such as faculty management and student record keeping. For faculty members, the system facilitates easy management of student data, achievements, publications, and placements. Students benefit from increased transparency and accessibility to their academic information, including achievements and placement opportunities. Overall, SFIS aims to create a centralized platform that promotes collaboration, communication, and productivity among all stakeholders in the educational ecosystem

Abstract

The Student and Faculty Information System (SFIS) is an Android application designed to streamline administrative, faculty, and student interactions within an educational institution. Admin functionalities include adding faculty members, viewing student records, adding achievements, publications, and placements. Faculty members can add students, achievements, and publications, and view student information. Students have access to view placement opportunities, achievements, and publications. SFIS enhances efficiency by providing a centralized platform for managing academic data, facilitating communication, and promoting transparency among stakeholders. With user-friendly interfaces tailored to each role, SFIS promotes seamless administrative processes and empowers faculty and students to track and showcase their academic progress and accomplishments effectively.
