Smart Voting System

Objective

The objective of smart voting systems is to do a two-step authentication for voters to vote using face and fingerprint matching.

Abstract

In this paper, the proposed algorithm presents the smart voting system in order to improve the voting performance during elections. The smart voting system is nothing but the voting in online by using fingerprint and facial recognition of the voter. In most of the countries follows this online voting system.  In our country, the voting procedure is done by electronic voting machine. Due to misuse of voting machine at polling centers and voters going into their particular booths and waiting in lengthy line most the people miss the chance of casting their votes. For that reason, a novel method is developed for voting by using two-step authentication for voters to vote using face and fingerprint matching. Face recognition is done in our MATLAB by using CNN classification. The protection level of our scheme is really enhanced by the novel application technique for every voter.
