Abstract

This project presents a Smart Mirror system based on Raspberry Pi, designed to provide essential daily information while functioning as a regular mirror. A two-way mirror is combined with an HDMI screen, which is connected to a Raspberry Pi acting as the central controller. The screen, placed behind the mirror glass, displays real-time data such as the current time, date, weather conditions, temperature, and news updates without obstructing the reflective surface. The Raspberry Pi fetches this information from the internet using APIs and updates the display dynamically. This seamless integration of technology into a common household item enhances convenience, offering users an interactive and informative experience during their daily routine, while maintaining a sleek and minimalist design.
