Semantic Segmentation in Autonomous Vehicles

Project Code :TMMAAI369

Objective

The objective is to implement a vehicle and person detection system using YOLOv2 in MATLAB 2020a, focusing on accurate object identification and localization within a controlled dataset for effective real-time detection.

Abstract

We aim to implement a vehicle and person detection system using the YOLOv2 (You Only Look Once version 2) algorithm in MATLAB 2020a. This project will focus on detecting a limited number of vehicles and persons within an image. The algorithm will be applied to a predefined dataset with a specific number of image samples, ensuring controlled experimentation and evaluation. By leveraging YOLOv2's real-time object detection capabilities, we aim to achieve accurate identification and localization of objects, highlighting its effectiveness within the MATLAB 2020a environment.
