Securing IoT Data in the Cloud with Blockchain Technology

Project Code :TCMAPY805

Objective

The main aim of the project is to determine the security in transactions of the data transferred to Internet of things using block chain.

Abstract

This paper introduces a novel approach to enhance security and privacy in Cloud Services by integrating Block chain technology. Unlike conventional encryption methods, this solution leverages Block chain’s decentralized architecture for data storage across multiple nodes, ensuring enhanced security, privacy, and access control. The proposed model is applied to IoT sensor data, utilizing Block chain’s inherent data encryption and integrity verification through hashed blocks. The integration of SHA512 further fortifies data integrity and thwarts attacks by imposing formidable computational requirements on potential attackers. This innovative approach presents a robust solution for safeguarding user data in Cloud Services, addressing existing limitations.
