Objective

The main objective of this project is to Open and close Bank locker using secure fingerprint

Abstract

This project presents a "Secure Fingerprint Bank Locker with Image Capture" system that enhances security through biometric and visual verification. The system integrates a fingerprint sensor and a USB webcam to authenticate users. During the enrollment phase, both the fingerprint and facial image of the authorized user are stored in a secure database. At the time of access, the system verifies the user's fingerprint and captures an image using the webcam to compare with the stored data. Only if both the fingerprint and face match, the DC motor is activated to unlock the locker. In case of a mismatch or unauthorized access attempt, a buzzer is triggered, an alert message is sent via GSM module to the registered number, and a corresponding warning is displayed on the LCD screen. This multi-factor authentication system significantly improves locker security, making it suitable for sensitive applications such as bank lockers.
