Maximize satellite coverage while minimizing fuel consumption using Genetic Algorithm for optimal orbital paths in Multi objective optimization.
When faced with a situation like yours involving conflicting objectives—in this case, maximizing coverage and limiting fuel consumption for the satellite orbit—multiobjective optimization algorithms, or MOOAs, are an effective tool. Here, in this implementation, the AI tool namely Genetic Algorithm (GA) was used for predicting the correct and optimal path for satellite orbit which will improves the coverage of satellites and also minimizes the fuel consumption as well. In this paper, the dataset of historical satellite data of 100 satellites were analyzed and trained the GA first and then, using the trained GA the satellites orbital path was predicted and improved the coverage of satellites.
