The main objective of this project is to develop a system for monitoring of forest fires and wildfire spread using sensor-based technologies
The project's primary objective is to safeguard forests from perilous wildfires and prevent their unchecked spread. To achieve this, a sophisticated system has been developed, incorporating an Arduino and specialized sensors capable of detecting fires and smoke within the forest. When these sensors detect a fire, they activate a loud alarm using a buzzer to ensure widespread awareness. However, the system's capabilities extend beyond mere detection; including GPS similar to that found in smartphones for location tracking. Consequently, in the event of a fire, the system promptly transmits notifications to the appropriate parties, including fire fighters and nearby residents. These notifications provide information regarding the fire's location and potential path of propagation. In essence, this project serves as a forest superhero, vigilantly monitoring for fires, issuing prominent alerts, and disseminating critical messages to those capable of mitigating the fire's impact and ensuring the safety of nearby residents. The overarching goal is to protect our forests and the well-being of the communities residing in their vicinity.
