Objective

The main aim of the project to develop a smart medicine remainder box that is used to remind our loved ones to take medicines on time. This can be used by an individual, it can remind up to three pills taking time and sms is sent through GSM.

Abstract

In modern society, busy life has made people forget many things in day to day life. The elderly people and the people victims of chronicle diseases who need to take the medicines timely without missing are suffering from dementia, which is forgetting things in their daily routine. Considering this situation study has been done in this. Paper reviewing the technologies of home health care which are currently used for improving this situation by reminding the scheduled of medicine, remote monitoring and update health data of patients, which can be seen by the user through web. The system allows the user to enter the prescribed timings, at which the patient has to take the medication. The microcontroller continuously reads the time from the RTC. When the timings read from the RTC equals the timings stored in the EEPROM, the system displays the list of medicines to be taken at that particular prescribed time on the LCD and LED corresponding to that medicine will glow. If the person doesn’t take medicine on time a buzzer alert will be given and a message will be sent and if any health condition is abnormal then also it will send message to the concerned person.
