Psychology Chatbot

Objective

The main objective of this Chatbot is to enable people with any psychological issues or potential psychological issues to diagnose themselves at no cost.

Abstract

The present age of digitization brings with it progress and new possibilities for health care in general and clinical psychology/psychotherapy in particular. Chatbots are automated computer programs that are able to hold, e.g., a script-based conversation with a human being. Chatbots could contribute to the extension of health care services. The aim of this review is to conceptualize the scope and to work out the current state of the art of chatbots fostering mental health. Chatbots have also been employed for research and clinical support in the healthcare domain. In the field of psychology, chatbots have been applied to clinical research where survey or interview data collection are substituted with chatbots that can interact with the subjects.
