Protecting Data Privacy for Permissioned Blockchains using Identity-Based Encryption

Project Code :TCMAPY808

Objective

The main aim of the project is to maintain the privacy in the identity-based encryption techniques.

Abstract

This project addresses the critical issue of data privacy in Permissioned Blockchains through the implementation of Identity-Based Encryption (IBE). Blockchain, a distributed technology, ensures data integrity and verification by storing information across multiple nodes. In Permissioned Blockchains, where access is restricted to authorized entities, maintaining data privacy is paramount. IBE employs the user's identity, such as a mobile number or username, to generate private and public keys. The generated keys facilitate the encryption and decryption of data, ensuring that only authorized users with the corresponding keys can access and view the information. This approach enhances the security of Permissioned Blockchains, providing a robust solution for protecting sensitive data from unauthorized access.
