The Plasma Donor App connects donors and recipients efficiently, using real-time communication and location services to streamline plasma donation and support healthcare systems.

Abstract

The Plasma Donor App is a comprehensive mobile application designed to facilitate plasma donation and management through a streamlined and user-friendly interface. This application enables three main types of users: Admins, Donors, and Users, each with distinct functionalities to ensure efficient plasma donation processes. The Admin panel is empowered to manage the donor database by adding new donors and monitoring user activities. Admins have the ability to view registered users, ensuring that the platform remains up-to-date and functional. General Users can browse through available plasma donors, submit donation requests, and track the history of their requests. Once a request is accepted, users can directly contact the donor through the app, fostering seamless communication and coordination. Donors are provided with a login interface where they can view incoming requests and update their status based on their availability to donate. Upon accepting a request, donors can be redirected to Google Maps for navigation to the user’s location, ensuring that the donation process is both efficient and location-aware. The application leverages Android for the frontend, utilizing Android XML for the user interface and Kotlin for backend development, ensuring a robust and responsive user experience. The integration of location services and real-time communication capabilities makes this app an essential tool for managing plasma donations in a fast and organized manner.
