The main objective is to implement a system for overcrowd avoidance in transportation using Raspberry Pi and face detection technology. When the camera detects overcrowding through face detection, it triggers a GSM module to send real-time alerts to authorities, ensuring prompt action to manage crowd levels effectively and enhance passenger safety.
This project presents a system for managing overcrowding in transportation using face detection technology and a Raspberry Pi. The Raspberry Pi acts as the main microcontroller, interfaced with a web camera to monitor and detect crowd levels. When the camera identifies overcrowding through face detection algorithms, the system triggers a GSM module to send real-time alerts to relevant authorities, facilitating prompt intervention to control crowd levels. Additionally, the system activates an alarm in crowded areas to alert passengers and further manage the situation. This approach enhances passenger safety and ensures effective crowd management in transportation settings.
