The main objective of the project is to detect the oil spills.
In this work, the Oil spill is located on the ocean/sea using YOLO algorithm. An oil spill is the release of a liquid petroleum hydrocarbon into the environment, especially the marine ecosystem, due to human activity, and is a form of pollution. The term is usually given to marine oil spills, where oil is released into the ocean or coastal waters. Hence, oil spill detection should be considered as an essential research issue. So, here oil spill will be located with YOLO algorithm with Matlab. The results will give better outputs when compared to existing works.
