Abstract

In modern society, we often spend 5 to 10 minutes trying to find a spot in a parking garage. Parking garages are commonplace, but they are extremely inefficient. According to a study done by Inrix, the authority on vehicles and transportation. Over 70 billion dollars are wasted every year searching for parking. In that process, we waste 3.6 billion hours of time and 1.7 billion gallons of fuel. That is a lot of wasted resource. So to utilize these resources efficiently we designed this project. This project has been designed by considering all the possibility of the utilization of all the resource. In this project we are taking controllers to perform the tasks efficiently. Here we are going to use Arduino to perform the tasks and ultrasonic sensor to calculate the distance. And one more module we are using here that is camera. Camera is used here to check the condition of the parking. And after collecting all the data we need to display this data for the better understanding of the drivers so we are using one LCD display also for that.
