Navigation System for Visually Impaired People by Using Raspberry Pi

Project Code :TEMBMA1649

Objective

Blind people facing lot of difficulties to lead their life alone. So by using this system blind people can survive easily with voice commands without persons help.

Abstract

In the list of disabilities, blind people are facing more difficulties on their day to day life. Basically it is difficult for blind people pass their day to day life with their disabilities. Nowadays every technology becomes smarter, in the list of them, this technology makes walking stick smarter which has many applications such as walking stick indicator.

To make their stick smarter, we interfaced some system to their walking stick. In this system we interfaced some smart functions with their stick. Whenever the obstacle is detected on their way, this system will let them know that at which side the obstacle is present through voice command via earphone based on the information that was collected by ultrasonic sensor.

So that blind can able to identify the obstacle on their path. If there is a large obstacle like a car, they can be able to walk based on the object in-front of them. So by using this system the blind people can easily survive in their world.
