Abstract

Abstract:

In the current transportation industry, especially for the transport of coal, sand, heavy stone, and construction waste, dump trucks play a pivotal role. However, most traditional dump trucks are limited in their functionality, only capable of vertically dumping their cargo, resulting in reduced, particularly in confined spaces such as construction sites. This limitation has led to challenges in loading and unloading processes, requiring significant time and effort from the driver. This project addresses these challenges by introducing a multi-dimensional dump truck model designed to enhance the performance and features of conventional dump trucks. The proposed multi-dimensional dump truck is equipped with an ARM7 controller, allowing it to follow Bluetooth commands and control two DC motors. One of these motors controls the vertical movement, allowing the container to load and unload cargo efficiently, while the second motor enables horizontal movement, facilitating precise positioning and rotation of the dump truck. Additionally, IR sensors are integrated into the system to detect with buzzers alert when the sand or cargo reaches capacity on one side, triggering the rotation of the container to distribute the load evenly, thus maximizing efficiency and load-bearing capacity.
