Mobile app for disease identification and management system of lemons-Android

Objective

To develop a mobile Android application that leverages image processing and machine learning techniques for real-time detection of common lemon diseases, including "Healthy lemons," "Lemon canker," "Lemon mold," and "Lemon scab."

Abstract

The Android application aims to assist lemon growers and agricultural enthusiasts in detecting common lemon diseases using image processing and machine learning techniques. Users will first register and log in to the application, ensuring personalized access and data management. Upon successful authentication, users can capture or upload an image of a lemon, which will be analysed by the system to identify potential diseases. The app is capable of detecting four conditions: "Healthy lemons," "Lemon canker," "Lemon mold," and "Lemon scab." Based on the detected disease, the application will provide basic recommendations for treatment and prevention, helping users take immediate corrective actions. This user-friendly tool empowers lemon growers with real-time diagnostics, promoting healthier crops and improved yield.
