In this study, a new reversible watermarking technique for the security of medical videos is proposed.
In this work, patient details are securely transferred using encryption and decryption techniques. Healthcare data security is an important element of Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act Rules. Patients must have trust in your organization when disclosing personal information such as health data, therefore damage to your organization’s reputation could hinder the services you are able to offer.
This study investigated on developing an efficient medical video watermarking scheme. The digital medical information, which has a sensitive character, requires extreme attention when a watermarking process is applied. Here, we have a tendency to first merge the least significant bins to reserve spare bins and so introduce extra data by a histogram shifting approach victimization arithmetic encoding. During histogram shifting, we propose to construct the transfer matrix by increasing the entropy of the histogram.
When embedding, the marked image containing extra information contains a larger contrast than the original image. Input is a medical video (ultrasound, x-ray etc.,) which are collected from online streaming platforms (YouTube).
