IOT Based Weather Monitoring System Using Raspberry Pi
Abstract
Today, the weather variable has great effect on our modern lifestyle. Weather affects a wide range of man’s activities, including agriculture, transportation etc. Weather variables like temperature, atmospheric pressure and humidity, are sensed by sensors and further processed by Raspberry Pi. Weather forecasting has to be reliable and accurate, regardless of its application. The data of the measured parameters are not useful if they are not transmitted fast and accurate manner to the users.
This project aim is to measure the various parameters like Temperature, Humidity, and pressure continuously monitor through sensors and sends to raspberry pi. Raspberry pi will process the data to the web server through Ethernet/Wi-Fi and save them on a server. So that this data can be accessed from anywhere via Internet. The data can be stored online, which can be used to forecast weather and eventually analyze the natural disasters like cyclones, earthquakes, volcanoes etc. LCD is used to display the messages.
