IOT Based Smart Helmets for Construction Workers

Also Available Domains Arduino

Project Code :TEMBMA2599

Objective

The main objective is to design a smart flexible helmets for construction workers to monitor their health condition and to identify their rotation or orientation with respect to gravity with the help of gyroscope sensor and sends the data to cloud

Abstract

Day by day the death rate of the construction workers at the construction site is increasing. But still there are no such remedies to reduce this fatality rate. To provide continuous monitoring of the workers and to prevent them from any health hazards during working, this system proposes a smart flexible helmet for the construction workers to provide security and rescue measures in case of any emergency conditions. The proposed system describes a smart inexpensive helmet for the construction workers made up of chromium embedded with Accelerometer sensor. The Accelerometer sensor is used to measure the linear acceleration or motion of the worker.  This sensor is used for fall detection. The helmet monitors the physical conditions of the construction workers and sends notification that GPS location to the Contractor via the GSM.
