This study introduces an IoT-based system for real-time environmental monitoring in factory workplaces, focusing on improving safety by tracking conditions and detecting hazards.
This project focuses on enhancing workplace safety through an IoT-enabled industrial monitoring system. Utilizing an Arduino Uno microcontroller, the system integrates various sensors to monitor critical environmental parameters. A DHT11 sensor measures temperature and humidity, a fire sensor detects fire hazards, a gas sensor identifies the presence of harmful gases, and a BMP180 sensor monitors atmospheric pressure. The NodeMCU module transmits collected data to the ThingSpeak IoT platform for real-time analysis and visualization. An LCD display provides on-site data visualization, while a buzzer issues immediate sound alerts in response to detected anomalies. This comprehensive system aims to improve workplace safety by enabling proactive monitoring and swift response to potential hazards.
