IoT Based Epilepsy Monitoring Device for Children

Project Code :TEMBMA3682

Objective

The objective of the IoT-Based Epilepsy Monitoring Device for Children is to provide real-time monitoring of children with epilepsy by detecting seizure activities using sensors. The device sends alerts via IoT technology to caregivers or medical personnel, ensuring timely intervention and enhancing the safety of children prone to seizures

Abstract

The IoT-Based Epilepsy Monitoring Device for Children is designed to offer continuous, real-time monitoring of children affected by epilepsy, aiming to detect seizure activities promptly and reliably. The system integrates various biomedical sensors—such as accelerometers, heart rate sensors, and EEG modules—to identify physiological anomalies associated with epileptic seizures. Upon detection of abnormal patterns, the device transmits immediate alerts to caregivers or medical professionals through IoT platforms, enabling rapid response and potentially life-saving interventions. This solution not only enhances the safety and well-being of children with epilepsy but also provides peace of mind to their families through remote monitoring and proactive healthcare support.
