The objective of this project is to develop an app that estimates the range of electric vehicles based on battery percentage and consumption rate, provides suggestions for nearby EV stations, and allows users to contact stations for better charging planning.
ABSTRACT
The Intelligent Range Estimation with Smart EV Charging App is designed to enhance electric vehicle (EV) users' charging experiences by estimating the range and providing intelligent recommendations for nearby charging stations. The app integrates Google Maps to display EV station locations, helping users identify the nearest station based on their current location. By evaluating battery percentage and vehicle consumption rates, the app estimates whether the user can reach the selected charging station. Additionally, the system suggests alternative stations if the destination is unreachable. Users can easily access station details, such as name, distance, and contact, ensuring a seamless charging experience. This solution promotes efficient planning of EV trips, reduces range anxiety, and optimizes time spent on the road. With a user-friendly interface, the app aims to address the growing need for reliable, accessible, and accurate charging information for EV owners.
