Abstract

This project focuses on the development and implementation of an IoT-enabled real-time cold storage monitoring and notification system, designed to ensure optimal humidity and temperature conditions for sensitive goods. Utilizing the DHT11 sensor, the system continuously monitors humidity levels within the storage unit. When the humidity drops below a predefined threshold, a Peltier module is activated to provide the necessary cooling. If the environmental conditions remain outside the desired range despite the cooling intervention, the system escalates the issue by sending an alert message via a GSM module to the concerned personnel. This real-time feedback loop ensures efficient environmental control and timely human intervention, making it ideal for use in food storage, pharmaceuticals, and other temperature-sensitive applications.
