Objective

The main objective of this paper is to model and simulate a hybrid energy system that combines wind and solar power, aiming to assess its performance, improve energy reliability, and support the integration of renewable sources for sustainable energy production

Abstract

This paper proposes a comprehensive modeling and simulation assessment of a Wind and Solar Hybrid Energy System (WSHES) to promote sustainable energy production and mitigate the impacts of climate change. By integrating wind and solar power into the existing energy infrastructure, the proposed approach aims to enhance energy generation and reliability. The WSHES combines the intermittent nature of wind and solar energy sources, improving overall system performance. The system's viability is evaluated under various operating conditions using simulation tools, control algorithms, and mathematical modeling. Results demonstrate that WSHES has significant potential to increase energy sustainability, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and provide a stable electricity supply. These findings offer valuable insights for more effective integration of renewable energy sources into the grid.
