Abstract

In this project establishing the performance of grid-connected wind photovoltaic (PV) cogeneration system. The utility of the wind-based PV system interfaced by back to back converter via voltage source converters (VSCs). In this project solar PV array directly connected to the grid without dc/dc conversion stages and the efficiency of the system improved. So the proposed method extracts the maximum power of the PV generators to the extraction of renewable energy. To control the voltage source converter vector pulse width modulation used. The results are verified by using Mat lab/Simulink.
