Grid-Connected Hybrid Renewable Energy System under Various Operating Conditions

Also Available Domains Hybrid Systems

Project Code :TEPGPE317

Objective

The main objective of this project is to ensure stable and efficient power supply by optimally integrating renewable sources like solar and wind with the grid. It aims to maintain power quality, maximize renewable energy utilization, and ensure reliable energy dispatch under varying operating conditions.

Abstract

This paper proposes, the usage of solar energy based on photovoltaic (PV) technology and wind energy in different applications due to their sustainability, efficient cost, and mature technology. In addition, one of the many advantages of wind and solar based on PV is the possibility of installing them near the load centers in distribution networks. One of the great challenges of renewable energy based on PV and wind is that they have an intermittent nature. Combing wind and PV in one site increases the reliability of such renewable systems due to the complementary nature of these sources. This paper investigates a grid-connected hybrid renewable system based on wind and PV without storage devices.
