In the transport and logistics industry, fuel theft remains a critical issue affecting operational efficiency and profitability. This project presents a Fuel Allocation and Lockout System using an Arduino-based platform to manage and monitor fuel distribution securely. The system integrates a flow sensor, keypad, solenoid valve, GSM module, LCD, buzzer, and relay to control fuel dispensing. Fuel is allocated through an authentication process using the keypad, and the solenoid valve controls the fuel flow based on authorized input. Upon fuel allocation, an SMS notification is sent to the vehicle owner using the GSM module. The system also logs fuel quantity data and supports future enhancements like GPS tracking, odometer readings, fuel consumption analysis, and fuel tank capacity validation. These functionalities help identify discrepancies between the distance travelled and fuel used, making it easier to detect unauthorized fuel usage or possible theft.
