Objective

The objective is to develop an AI-powered smart yoga mat that tracks postures, provides real-time feedback, and delivers personalized guidance to enhance practice, wellness, and healthy living.

Abstract

FitMat AI is a smart yoga mat system designed to provide personalized wellness guidance using Raspberry Pi, a web camera, ADXL345 accelerometer, force sensors, LCD display, speakers, and a buzzer. The system monitors yoga poses in real time by combining computer vision and sensor data to analyze body posture, movement, balance, and pressure distribution. When incorrect poses are detected, the system provides instant feedback through voice guidance, visual display, and alert notifications. The proposed solution helps users improve posture accuracy, reduce injury risks, and enhance their overall yoga practice experience.
