Abstract

This project introduces a Fingerprint and Biometric Controlled Smart Banking Machine embedded with GSM technology for secure OTP verification, taking inspiration from modern ATM systems. The system enhances security by integrating biometric authentication and GSM-based communication. Initially, the user places their finger on a fingerprint sensor for identity verification. Once authenticated, the system generates a One-Time Password (OTP) and sends it to the registered mobile number via the GSM module. After the user enters the correct OTP, they are granted access to perform banking operations such as cash withdrawal or deposit. Upon completion of the transaction, a confirmation message is again sent to the user's phone via GSM, and the transaction details are displayed on an LCD screen. This system provides a multi-layered security approach, reducing the risk of unauthorized access and improving the overall safety and convenience of ATM-based banking services.
