The project seeks to deliver real-time weather forecasts, farming news, and government schemes, enabling farmers to make informed decisions. By simplifying appointment scheduling, it ensures easy access to expert guidance. Additionally, the platform will integrate an e-commerce system for purchasing farming products, improving product accessibility. Built on a scalable architecture, Farm Fusion will be flexible, allowing for future growth and feature expansion to meet the evolving needs of the agricultural community.
Farm Fusion is a comprehensive web platform designed to bridge the gap between farmers, experts, and administrators in the agriculture ecosystem. The system operates with three primary user roles: Admin, Expert, and Farmer, each with specific functionalities to streamline agricultural processes and enhance communication.
Admins can manage the entire platform by logging in, adding and viewing products, adding experts and government schemes, approving appointments, and logging out. Experts, upon logging in, can view appointments, send Zoom links for virtual consultations, chat with farmers, and attend sessions to provide guidance. Farmers can register and log in to view and buy agricultural products, participate in community forums to engage with other farmers, access farming-related news and weather forecasts, book appointments with experts, attend sessions, and log out.
Farm Fusion is built using the MERN (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js) stack, ensuring a dynamic and responsive user interface with a seamless backend for efficient data handling. This platform aims to improve farming practices by providing real-time expert advice, fostering community interaction, and offering essential agricultural resources.
