Enhancing Road Safety: Detection of Animals on Highways During Night
Objective
The main objectives of this project are to enhance road safety by detecting animals on highways during night time using computer vision and infrared imaging. It aims to reduce accidents by identifying animal presence in low-light conditions and alerting drivers in real time.The system supports safer driving through early warning mechanisms and intelligent surveillance on rural or forest-adjacent roads.
